Sea and beaches are our specialty, but also wandering in the old town searching a view for a particular photo shoot can be a great way to discover Levanto. A jump in the Middle Ages and here the old walls that surrounded the village, the Municipal Loggia, the beautiful parish church dedicated to St. Andrew, and then up and down the alleys until you come to Via Guani with its hidden hallways and Via Garibaldi characteristics facades painted.
The old railway line along the coast to Bonassola and Framura has been restored and now it is a wonderful place for walking, running and ride a bike with an eye to the beach and the horizon or discover small hidden beaches where have a swim in clean waters.
The pedestrian area is always animated and live. The colors of the stands on which shopkeepers display their goods. The streets are lined by dehors of bars and restaurants where you can find service and quality.
Don’t miss a visit to the tiny villages on hills, accessible by car, bus or even better by foot. Each of them has something special: a portal, a horatory, a nativity scene and why not, a good glass of local wine to drink on a cool cellar.
